RUG SIZE GUIDES

Rug sizing is where most people get stuck, and it's the one decision that's hard to undo. Too small and the room looks like it's wearing shoes two sizes down. Too big and you lose the floor entirely.

The good news is that game rooms have clearer rules than most spaces, because the furniture tells you what to do. A pool table needs room for a full stroke from every angle. A poker table needs every chair to stay on the rug when it slides back. A sectional needs everybody's feet to land somewhere soft. Here's how to figure out yours.
